Welcome to the home of Hot Sticks Hockey for the 2025 season!
Originating in 1978, the Hot Sticks Hockey Club is a no-hit, no-slapshot shinny team made up of players of varying skill levels and compatible attitude. The expected standard of play has been established to encourage full effort (i.e., quick shifts and equitable ice time for all), having a good time, respecting other players and the safety of all players.
Ice times are Saturday nights at 9:00 PM, October through March, a total of around 22 skates (Last skate Mar 18, 2023).
Full time players are required to log in to the team webpage and OPT OUT for each specific date that they will be unable to attend. Spare-list players can log in anytime to check if a spot is open on a first come first served basis. Spare players can then secure open spots until the roster is full. The fee for casual players is $20.
Full equipment is required; helmets with proper chin straps are mandatory.
COVID Protocols: Masks continue to be required within the facility and dressing rooms, but not on the ice.
